Do I need to prove I need food?
No. There are no forms, no ID checks and no eligibility rules. You do not need permission to bring food to or take food from the fridge.
How much can I take?
Take what you need. Leave enough for the next neighbor, and check back later if the fridge is empty — it is restocked through the day.
When is the fridge open?
Every hour of every day. It sits in a shed behind the United Methodist Church at 523 Main Street.
Can I leave cooked food?
Yes, if it was made the same day and is sealed. Please label it with what it is and the date.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. The fridge is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Ask us and we will send a receipt.
Who runs it?
Volunteers from Woburn, with the City of Woburn and the United Methodist Church hosting the site.
